About Ind 141: |
This route was the original routing of US 41 Between Dyer and Munster. When US 41 was straightened through much of Northwestern Indiana, this portion was recommissioned as Indiana 141. |

Southern Terminus: Hart Street and US 30, Dyer |

View looking north on Hart road north of US 30. This road only crosses one set of tracks, at which point Indiana 141 would have turned left down Matteson, then right at Sheffield/Columbia Drive to continue north. photo by Don Hargraves; up March 3, 2003 |

View looking south on Hart road, towards the intersection with US 30. US 41 had originally went south of this intersection, but soon after the route was signed Indianapolis Blvd was completed through Highand and Schererville, and the designation was transfered to that road. photo by Don Hargraves; up March 3, 2003 |

Northern Terminus: Calumet Road at Ridge Road, Munster. |
||||
View looking south on Calumet from Ridge Road. Indiana 141 would have gone down this road to Columbia Road, then turned and followed that road south-southwest to Dyer. Soon, Calumet road will be finished all the way photo by Don Hargraves; up March 3, 2003 |

View looking north on Calumet Road towards Ridge road. If you're wondering, the emptiness before the light to the right is authentic; as Munster never had much of a downtown to begin with. About a half mile up is a mall that once passed as the Downtown for Munster, but with the closing of Ward's even that fiction doesn't hold any water. photo by Don Hargraves; up March 3, 2003 |

A view of the signage that was at the intersection from years past. Telling from the ways the arrows are pointing, it looks like this was for traffic heading west on Ridge Road. From Calumet Historic Room at Purdue University Calumet |
