About Ind 331: |
Indiana 331 serves as an alternate routing for US 31, giving people from Mishawaka a more direct route (via Ind 25) to Rochester, Indianapolis and other points south. Right now, the state is in the middle of constructing a northern addition to Indiana 331 so that it acts as an access route from the St. Joseph Valley Parkway to the IN toll road (similar to CR 17 in Elkhart.). Construction for a road to fill in the gap between the two sections is expected to start this year. |

A view of the present day southern end of this section of Ind 331. The house at the end of this intersection is now the construction office for the contractor who has been working on this project. I'm not sure whether it will be moved, destroyed or if the road will be built around it. |
