About Ind 21:	Indiana 21, while a north-south route, actually cut northwest-southeast from the east side fo the state to the north central portion, connecting a few somewhat largish cities to each other. Most of this route was replaced with US 35, and its decommissioning has lead to a few oddities in the Indiana road system: Indiana 227 not only going south of Richmond (it originally ended at US 27), but it's actual cosigning with US 27 through town to its present southern branch. Both branches of Indiana 121 out by (or at) Richmond. Indiana 19 taking a sudden zig-zag routing NW-SE to US 18 south of Amboy, then not existing for a few miles before picking up at Indiana 22 east of Kokomo (Note: this was the last remaining portion of Indiana 21, still signed in 1965 when the rest of Indiana 21 was decommissioned).
