About US 52:

Between 1926 and 1934, US 52 ended at its meeting place with US 41 in Indiana. By 1935 it was extended all the way to Portal, North Dakota; at the US/Canada border there.

Eastern Entrypoint: Ohio State Line near West Harrison, IN.

This is the view on US-52 and I-74 coming into Indiana from Ohio. US 52 duplexes with I-74 for 2.4 miles before turning off at exit 169. Both routes go into Indianapolis; US-52 takes a more northerly track.
